Sisters Millie and Dolly Good,The Girls of the Golden West, could be heard on WLS and on the Barn Dance in the mid-1930's.

They were from Mule Shoe, TX. The Goods got their break in the radio business with KMOX in St. Louis, Missouri. It was a WLS talent scout that got them to appear on the WLS National Barn Dance. They stayed with the show for about two or three years, then on to NBC network  in New York City, appearing on shows like the Rudy Valley show.

The Girls of the Golden West appeared on the "Midwestern Hayride" show that was on every Saturday night at 6:30pm.
